DE KERRILLEAU PICNIC AREA

Public BBQ

An open woodland picnic area in Bungonia, well equipped with a shelter, a gas barbecue, picnic tables, a toilet block, a water tank with a tap and clear track signage. It is the trackhead and car park for Grill Cave, which suits family groups, school groups and novice cavers, and both the Orange and Green tracks start here. For anyone staying aboveground it works equally well as a place to cook breakfast before setting out or to sit under a tree with a book. Wallabies, lyrebirds and occasionally a koala are about, and the birdwatching rewards binoculars. Adams lookout and The Lookdown are both close by.
